I'm doing a DNA test for genealogical purposes, and my kit comes with 3 swabs. The instructions explain how to get the sample from the left inside cheek, and then says to do the same thing with the right cheek, and then with the front of the mouth. Does that mean that I swab the top or the bottom of my mouth in the front? Or does it matter?

I'd love to find out how much Native American my children have in them. Can I get a DNA test to verify their genealogy?
Let's say both cousins are related through their grandmother on their fathers' side, but neither have parents or grandparents still alive... so that rules out the possibility of getting a dna sample from them. But if 2 cousins were to take a dna test themselves, is it possible that they could determine whether or not they had the same grandfather on their fathers' side?
ok, I realize that, but if they had the same grandparents, wouldn't 50% of the cousin's blood be similar enough to warrant an answer?
My daughter is almost 4 weeks old and she honestly looks nothing like me. All my close friends agree. I think she looks like one of my wife's co workers. They went on a business trip around the time my daughter was concieved. I do not want to acuse my wife and be wrong. I also do not want to ruin our relationship if Im wrong. Is there a way for me to get a dna test for me and my daughter without my wife's knowledge?
I wish to determine my genetic background and geneology using a DNA test. However, many of them exist and I don't know which are fraud and which are real using state of the art laboratory technology. Which company, and website, do you think is the best?

I'm 22 years old and in the military; I've been trying to be a part in my child's life since the beginning , but the family keeps me from him. How can I get a dna test for him to prove that he is mind and get full custody since the mother is in prison?
I am tracking my paternal grandmother's ancestry and have hit a roadblock. I'd like to do dna testing to see, but I'm not sure which test would give me the correct results-admixture? Also, does it matter if it's a female or male descendant who does the test? Since they're expensive tests, I want to make sure we do it correctly! Thanks!
