How do you do a DNA test mouth swab?

I'm doing a DNA test for genealogical purposes, and my kit comes with 3 swabs. The instructions explain how to get the sample from the left inside cheek, and then says to do the same thing with the right cheek, and then with the front of the mouth. Does that mean that I swab the top or the bottom of my mouth in the front? Or does it matter?

Let's say both cousins are related through their grandmother on their fathers' side, but neither have parents or grandparents still alive... so that rules out the possibility of getting a dna sample from them. But if 2 cousins were to take a dna test themselves, is it possible that they could determine whether or not they had the same grandfather on their fathers' side?
ok, I realize that, but if they had the same grandparents, wouldn't 50% of the cousin's blood be similar enough to warrant an answer?

How can I get a DNA test for my daughter without my wife knowing?

My daughter is almost 4 weeks old and she honestly looks nothing like me. All my close friends agree. I think she looks like one of my wife's co workers. They went on a business trip around the time my daughter was concieved. I do not want to acuse my wife and be wrong. I also do not want to ruin our relationship if Im wrong.
