I have a friend who needs a DNA test for her baby and the "father" but she's not sure about how to go along with the process and we were looking online and it said something about home paternity tests. Are they effective? If she chose to go to a doctors office how much would it cost?

I have three rescued dogs and I know is definately Shephard, but the other two are either a pit mix or a lab mix. I love them all, and don't really care, but I was curoius to know. The DNA test is per dog.

Would you ever want to do a DNA test to find your dogs breed.

P.S. I would never buy from a breeder, and I am fine with never knowing the breed, as they are great dogs.

I know most birds you need a DNA test, but sometimes you don't with certain species. This bird is about 2-3 years old, never laid an egg. But are there any physical features I may be able to determine her/his sex without getting the DNA test?

I live in NC with my child and have been for the past 2 yrs the father lives in NY. How can i get a DNA test so that i can get child support?

I asked a question about good ways to find out what nationalities you have in you. Several people said DNA test. Would that really work?

I am due in 5 weeks and the father wants a DNA test to prove its his. (it is his). Well when u go to court do they do ur case immediately or do they process it and it takes a month or two?

I had a DNA test done to establish maternity for my son, the test came back that the man I had tested was not the father. Me and the man got a retest because we could not believe the results and sure enough the 2nd test said he was the father. I'm so confused. When I asked the facility they said the gel they used had expired. Shouldn't I get some of my money back? What would of happened if I hadn't gotten a retest?
