I paid $630 for a mother/father/child test done in January 2008. Mine was court ordered in Maryland USA.
I don’t know about Canada. But here in the USA, if you go to a clinic, its free.
It can yes. It can be about $200 in most places. If it is courtorder for childsupport reasons then it is usually paid for by the agency but if it is courtorder and childsupport isn’t involved then the parent(s) would have to pay for the test. If you just want it done without a court order then that parent(s) have to pay. Not sure about Canada though because i have only seen it here in Ohio. My ex had to have his done with his first son and he didn’t have to pay since it was for childsupport reasons but they told him that they could still have billed him for the test and that it costs $200 for the test. The hospitals will do it but again it is between $150-200 everywhere that we checked into.
or maybe you should just know who the father is & not sleep around. just my opinion
You can look at this site for more information: http://www.dnacenter.com. They do serve clients in Canada and can even arrange the cheek swabs to be done separately if that’s how you want to do it.
This is a private company which means you won’t need a court order and can get results quicker. Also, their tests are legally-defensible which means you can use them for child support, birth certificates, social security, etc.
