How do I go about getting a dna test for my father?
I'm pretty much convinced that my dad isn't my biological dad. We look nothing alike, have nothing in common, completely different personalities and body types. Everyone I know agrees with me. My mother lies so she wouldn't tell me who the real father is if she knew. I wanna get a dna test but I'm afraid of asking my dad. Can I just go to his house when he is out and get some hairs off his bed? Or would he need to go in person to take the test?

One does not have to go any where in person to take a test. The kit comes to you in the mail. One swabs the inside of the mouth and sends it back. For about $100 you could gift the kit to your dad.
The regular price for the 12 marker Y DNA test is $150, but if you call and volunteer for the Genographic Project they might be able to give you a $50 discount:

However, you are going to have to buy two kits, one for your dad and one for yourself.

ask him.
"We look nothing alike, have nothing in common, completely different personalities and body types."
That is, of course, entirely possible while being related.
Aside from the whole "we look nothing alike" thing (and our taste in music), you’ve pretty much just described me and my dad.
"Can I just go to his house when he is out and get some hairs off his bed?"
Shed hairs are generally useless for DNA testing, as you need the living cells in the follicle.
You’d have better luck with a comb, or, you know, just asking him.
you can get DNA from anything, when he finished drinking from a cup there will be some DNA left over.
Just do it.
You could probably get his hair from his comb.
If you really doubt your dad, think twice first.
Because, not all children have the same characteristics as their parents.
They probably get their genes from their grandparents because the recessive genes show up.
But, don’t you feel something about him? Something like love for a parent?
You better get some job first, a paternity test is probably going to set you back about $500. Who is going to pay for that?
Not looking similar is not a good enough argument, you could probably more easily check into blood types. If you know the blood types of your parents and your own (you can always donate blood if you need to find out your own…) you can get at least an indication. In addition you can look for other traits which have a simple inheritance pattern, you find some e.g. here:

You might be able to work out things by doing a bit of research, learning about genetics and inheritance. Though most likely you will find out that your dad is your dad. Wishing you had superman for a dad does not make it come true. You will be better off if you learn to get along and be happy with the dad you have than with your ideal dream of a dad.
