you can either go down to your local court house and file for full custody, in which the process includes either him accepting paternity or taking a test to prove otherwise, or you can file for child support and they will do the same thing. in both cases if he opts not to accept paternity and wants to do a test and it comes back that he is the father, he will have to pay for the test. but, if it comes back that he is not the father, you will have to pay for the test.

When the child is born and you get the forms for the birth certificate you tell the nurse you need the paperwork for a court ordered DNA test. Most hospitals won’t actually have the forms you need, but they will at least send you in the right direction in your city.

The costs of the court order and the DNA test all fall on the father.

You contact the Child support section of the state attorney general’s office and file a paternity suit. They then force a test on him and set the child support. Don’t let him play games with you.

EDIT: you wont have to pay for the paternity test. he would have to.
