I believe it was her boyfriend,Joseph,but because they were not married,she said she was a virgin,because in that time….it was not so nice to sleep with a man without marriage…or maybe she cheated on her boyfriend and told him she got pregnant by the touch of the light,and poor man actually bought it-wich would not happen today…I don’t mean to be cynic,but I believe those are the probabilities.
Anyway the man was a trooper,stood by her and protected her,even he knew the baby is not his…he actually loved her,that’s all I could say for sure.:)

Actually, I’m not quite sure why you’re testing Mary to determine the father, unless of course you talking something like a rape kit and you’re going to get a fresh sample. You do realize, don’t you, that getting pregnant doesn’t change a woman’s DNA?

It would show that no man is the father that Jesus really is the son of God. You must take this on faith but if DNA test were done it would show that Marry was with out a doubt a virgin and that a higher power over shadowed her and she became with child.
Perhaps some unknown Roman soldier or even Joseph. I am Jewish so who knows.
