In Texas, after i establish paternity, do i collect child support from the DOB or when the result come in?

They go by the day your case was filed, unless you’re filing for back pay as well. If you’re asking for support back until the child’s birth, that will have to be included in the paperwork and approved by the judge.
For most state it’s from when you file.
There is no retroactive support.
Don’t be so lazy, ask the folks yourself, you don’t even have to get up, just make a call.
In Texas, you can go retro 3 or 4 yrs I think.
Once paternity is established, they will go over finances and come up with a number.
It will be from the date the order is given and not the date that you file. There must be an order in place to collect child support.
I am not certain about texas, but in most states it is from the time that the test confirms who is the father. The support should start soon after that.
it depends on a variety of things, like if it was a divorce decree with an order, or if he is an absent parent…etc…you honestly need to talk to a lawyer or clerk of the court in which you file.
