IF Paternity is established and court order is established to pay child support, then and only then will the military get involved, but only if the servicemember does not follow through on the court ordered support and it is brough to the courts attention that he has not paid. First of all, a civilian court cannot tell the commanding officer to have the test administered, courts would address the soldier directly. Second, soldiers get blood drawn regularly as part of their readiness, so it would be easy to see if the test was the soldier's blood or someone elses. Last, no army doctor in the right mind would risk their own career to help someone avoid child care payments. What you hear was a myth. This story sounds absolutely untue.
