He MAY be awarded some visitation if there isn't a strong reason not to allow it (Drugs, alcoholism, violence etc..), however...if the child doesn't even know him, they may set up supervised visitation at first. Make him take you to court for visitation! YOU however, need to go to your local child support enforcement agency and start collecting that support! ALL they do is get child support. They don't deal with deciding his visitation rights. He'd have to do that on his own.
