I had a DNA test done to establish maternity for my son, the test came back that the man I had tested was not the father. Me and the man got a retest because we could not believe the results and sure enough the 2nd test said he was the father. I'm so confused. When I asked the facility they said the gel they used had expired. Shouldn't I get some of my money back? What would of happened if I hadn't gotten a retest?

is it possible to do a bloodtest or what type of DNA test would be best in determining two supposed half sisters have the same father?
Hers is the scenario. My father is deceased! I have someone who states she jus fouund out many years later that my dad is also her dad.. (different mothers) . We want to prove whether she is or not my half sister, what is the best way to go abt this?

I was flipping through a magazine and found an ad for a home cotton swab DNA test. The test was a couple hundred dollars and the results would inform you if the child is yours. Should women be afraid of the ease and affordability of this test? Women, would this make you more faithful? Do you feel that regardless of the outcome of this test the spouse should still continue paying child support?

DNA test have to take separate ones for your paternal and maternal ancestry but it should be able to tell you, based on your DNA strands, where your family comes from? Where can I get a test?

Im a teen parent and I was wondering how will I go about getting child support. The dad of course denys the baby, which is a typical thing, but I would like to also go about getting a dna test. Can someone please help because my baby is going on 2 and I would like her to at least know who her father is. Please help.

I'm doing a DNA test for genealogical purposes, and my kit comes with 3 swabs. The instructions explain how to get the sample from the left inside cheek, and then says to do the same thing with the right cheek, and then with the front of the mouth. Does that mean that I swab the top or the bottom of my mouth in the front? Or does it matter?

I'd love to find out how much Native American my children have in them. Can I get a DNA test to verify their genealogy?

Let's say both cousins are related through their grandmother on their fathers' side, but neither have parents or grandparents still alive... so that rules out the possibility of getting a dna sample from them. But if 2 cousins were to take a dna test themselves, is it possible that they could determine whether or not they had the same grandfather on their fathers' side?
ok, I realize that, but if they had the same grandparents, wouldn't 50% of the cousin's blood be similar enough to warrant an answer?

My daughter is almost 4 weeks old and she honestly looks nothing like me. All my close friends agree. I think she looks like one of my wife's co workers. They went on a business trip around the time my daughter was concieved. I do not want to acuse my wife and be wrong. I also do not want to ruin our relationship if Im wrong. Is there a way for me to get a dna test for me and my daughter without my wife's knowledge?

I wish to determine my genetic background and geneology using a DNA test. However, many of them exist and I don't know which are fraud and which are real using state of the art laboratory technology. Which company, and website, do you think is the best?

I'm 22 years old and in the military; I've been trying to be a part in my child's life since the beginning , but the family keeps me from him. How can I get a dna test for him to prove that he is mind and get full custody since the mother is in prison?

I saw a question on here about a person wanting to have a DNA test to find out which nationality they are, and which tribe they originally come from. How would that work?
All bloods the same colour.

I'm pretty much convinced that my dad isn't my biological dad. We look nothing alike, have nothing in common, completely different personalities and body types. Everyone I know agrees with me. My mother lies so she wouldn't tell me who the real father is if she knew. I wanna get a dna test but I'm afraid of asking my dad. Can I just go to his house when he is out and get some hairs off his bed? Or would he need to go in person to take the test?

Assume i take a DNA test to know between two men which one is my father and which one is my father's cousin(their fathers are brothers), how do they gonna test it in these two different situations:

My boyfriend has an 18 month boy, he found out about the baby when he was 6 months old. So he doesnt know if the baby is his. Where and how is the cheapest and legal way he can get a DNA test in Indiana?

My brother went to Walgreen's and bought a DNA test in a box, swabbed all parties and put all the swabs in the same envelope and they were all touching one another. The results came back and one was in the 92 percentile and the other was in the 96 percentile. Is there a possibility that the swabs were contaminated with his DNA when they touched in the envelope? Does he need to take this DNA test the right way through a reputable company?

my best friend needs to get a DNA test done on his 2 kids. His ex wife is taking child support from him and she cheated numerous times on him while they were together. She lives in Philadelphia and he lives in California. How can he get a dna test done? He doesnt have the money to hire a lawyer.

Someone goes around telling everyone that ya fathered their kid, but refuses to do a DNA test. Can ya force a paternity test to settle the issue?

my boyfriend told me after i have our baby he wants a DNA test. He said its not because he thinks im cheating he just wants to prove to everyone that it is his. i told him he shouldn't care what everyone one thinks. should i feel some type of way?

would i need to take a dna test to see what every nationality you have in you and how much you have?? would it cost money and where would i go to do this?

Out of curiosity, do you have to pay extra for a DNA test to confirm you are rightfully convicted for a crime? If so, how much do you have to pay for the test to be done?
