Well it’s not routinely if that’s what you were thinking (sorry if that’s not what you meant). A paternity test can be done at any time (generally a swab taken from the mouth). I think 2 wks is the general time frame for results.

Depends on where you have it done at. A friend of mine had her baby tested and found out the results the next day. She said it cost almost $250 though. If they baby is her fiance’s then they will have to pay for it together. If it isn’t his then she will be responsible for the costs.

I would assume he pays for it. He is asking for it. I know in some states if you are not married they will have you do one before he can put his name on the birth certificate. Not sure how long it takes but I would say 4-6 weeks.

Most of these tests cost near $100. The courts normally will bill the father if the child is his, and will bill the mother if the child isnt.

They’ll have the blood type when the baby is born. He’ll know his type and the fiancee will have it on her arm band I think. If those types are not able to have a baby then that would be your first clue other than the obvious of the way he looks. By the way they can take that test when the baby is still in the womb.
